Quality Assurance

 

Quality has been our strong point right since our inception. Our expertise in designing and development of precise solenoid valves and pressure regulators has helped us to comply with international standards. We have stringent quality mechanism in place to make sure that all the quality parameters are met with. Our well versed quality department ensures regular quality tests which are conducted in our in house laboratory. Raw material is procured from trusted vendors and is quality tested on the suppliers end and at our in-house facility as well.  Our testing program works on two fronts viz.

 

1. Raw Material

Raw material is analysed by our quality controllers for composition at chemical level and physical properties. Tests are conducted on parameters like hardness and efficiency.

 

2. Stage Inspection:

At each stage of production till the fabrication finished goods, our products are checked for design and dimensions. We spare no efforts to ensure total quality fulfillment.

We conduct regular quality tests to ensure upkeep of quality as per the parameters set by ISI. 

Quality Objectives

SOV's and FCPR's are manufactured with a focus to ensure a long trouble free, reliable operation for the product life-time. This is achieved by using modern production techniques and equipments as well as following stringent quality control checks, not only in-house but also external testing houses like IDEMI, plus those facilities at the suppliers own premises under their quality programme for raw material, finished components and bought-outs. Our own quality control programme consists of checks in three stages as follows :

1. Raw Material Stage :
Raw materials are tested as per National and International standards as required for every batch from reputed laboratories for their physical properties and chemical composition. Castings of bronze, stainless steel and Iron are certified for their grade by the Vendor-Foundry along with the supply. Rubber components like O rings/ packings of neoprene, nitrile, viton, EPDM and silicon are certified for hardness and other relevant properties by the respective suppliers.

2. Stage Inspection during manufacturing :
While machining the components at every stage, they are inspected as per the drawing for its accuracy in dimensions and finish. Proper "GO"-"NO-GO" Gauges and templates are used for checking bores, grooves and contours. Internal and external threads are checked by calibrated Ring/plug thread gauges for correctness of forms and sizes.

3. Performance Test :
All catings, forgings and bar-stock bodies are subjected to HYDROSTATIC TEST FOR PRESSURE RATING as per BIS standards before being assembled.
After assembly, each valve is tested under pressure for seat leak and performance. This testing is done on air, water or oil line as per the application/specification demands.
All AFCPR are tested for leakage, regulation and flow characteristics. All products are finally checked visually for finish before packing and dispatch.
